Waning Moon Energies and Letting Go

When people feel a little lower in energy, and it corresponds to when the moon is new there are wise ways to deal with it instead of just doubling down on caffeine. Yes, Virginia there are other ways to honor ourselves than pushing through a tough spot when our energies are low. Let’s explore a few:
If you have the good fortune to work in a role that is hybrid then schedule your work at home days near the new moon. That way if you find your energies are lower than you expect, you have the safety of your home space to lean on to reduce your output.
If you are in a role that requires you to be present in the office or active with customers all day then add in one extra break in the afternoon and remove yourself from the work mindspace by listening to one song with a good drink of herb tea\water.
When you return home after work, go straight to your personal space, do not pass GO and do not collect 200.00 (for Monopoly game fans). Spend 20 minutes in your personal space and do box breathing until your mind clears of the stress of commuting, of the work day, and of anything else that is pulling on you.
If you happen to live near water (lake, river, ocean) then go and sit near it. Water absorbs the static energy that we collect as humans. It generates negative ions which grounds your energy.
Now, when you are tempted to roll your eyes or grin at my suggestions I offer you this thought “Why not? What other investment of your time and energy is better than your mental health?”
I could be full of woo-woo and that is good. But it doesn’t mean I’m wrong.
